Hundreds of ODs attend the emergency AOA summit on Children’s Vision & COVID-19

We wanted to share the recap of the summit because it addressed the future of children's vision & learning through COVID-19 isolation. The year brought on many challenges that affected a child's entire world, where many young students could no longer seeing classmates & their teacher in person, had to learn at home at shorter periods of the day, and find ways to learn the material on their own with less assistance. Others faced similar challenges as well balancing their school environment, and of course, there are those with visual problems that go undiagnosed and undetected. Hopefully, with the AOA & the support of optometrists across the US, we'll make a big step towards helping any child succeed and not let their vision hold them back.
